Adobe Creative Suite 4 coming soon

Video unveil announced
Wednesday, 3 September 2008, 13:07

GRAPHICS AND IMAGING giant Adobe will webcast a preview of its new Creative Suite 4 package, which includes Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Indesign amongst others, on 23 September.

Details of the event were let slip on the Flash Blog early yesterday and an official link has now appeared on Adobe's Web Site. You can register here to be one of the select millions who will see the promo live, but we suspect all and sundry will be able to see the whole thing all over the Interwibble within hours of the official hoo haa anyway.

No release date has been set, or features announced, or prices offered, but a talking head from Adobe suggested that arty types should "Get plenty of sleep now as you will have more new toys than you'll know what to do with very soon."

You won't have to stay up late to see the video either, as Adobe has kindly localised the broadcasts into six different time zones including 11am for UK Adobe fans. µ

Oh great

I can now expect a two line text message to arrive in a 40Meg video!

64 bit?

I keep waiting for native 64 bit applications to start taking over but so far this hasn't happened. I have not read their release information but I'm willing to bet it is not available in true 64 bit form.

How many bugs will be there?

My opinion on the topic: <a href="http://garmahis.com/reviews/adobe-creative-suite-4-is-far-from-meeting-user-expectations/">Adobe Creative Suite 4 is far from meeting user expectations?</a>
