25 watts is the good old days now - Bob Colwell, former Intel chief architect
TIN MAKER DELL said it has struck a deal with DSG - the PC World, Currys and Dixons owner - Europewide.
This means that customers across Europe will be able to buy Dell kit through DSG stores, in 12 countries across Europe.
DSG will also offer its Techguys support in the UK to Dell products. Dell estimates that its products will now be available in 10,000 shops across the world.
The DSG deal is a big deal for Dell. µ
We don't have to listen to those repetitive adverts telling us "You won't find Dell in the shops" I is happy now :-)
I know about Dell, but who's the other bloke? Never heard of Dixons..... And they are where in Europe?
Dixons/curries etc are just electrical stores which sell tv's... washing machines, games, computers etc..... Nothing special really.
dixons dont have anystores anymore in uk its now currys digital but there all part of the dixons group of companies so i thought im probably wrong anyway
Dixons = The Link, Currys.digital, Dixons XL, PC World etc etc etc etc
" Dixons = The Link, Currys.digital, Dixons XL, PC World etc etc etc etc" Sorry, no idea who they are.... I know Mediamarkt, Expert, Aldi, etc.... But Dixons or any of the "names" you mention, never heard of them...sorry.
Dell did this once before with DSG's horrid PC World stores. This is the same DSG with a dodgy rep for selling "extended warranties" (for those who don't know that common law protects you 6 years on consumer durables) and accusations of flogging used stuff as new (see BBC TV Watchdog).
Great more bespoke power supplies and motherboards in the market place..................loads of money
